Central Auditory Processing problems can occur in adults or more commonly in children. Often a standard hearing test will produce normal results and yet the individual continues to feel they have difficulty with processing auditory information particularly in a noisy environment such as a classroom.

Speech therapy services are available for children and adults. These include paediatric assessments for children with speech delay or articulation/production problems, auditory training following the diagnosis of a Central Auditory Processing disorder and adult voice therapy.
